The pace is manageable for everyone and is individually adjusted to the group. It's not about speed. You can always hop on the camel.

Common questions

How do we get from the airport to the desert? +
The group flies into Djerba, Tunisia. From there, we take private transport to the desert town of Douz, then continue by jeep deep into the desert together.
Do I book my own flight? +
Yes — international flights are booked independently. Everything else (transport, food, guides, camels, camping equipment) is included in the retreat price.
Who carries my backpack while hiking? +
The camels. You walk free through the dunes all day without a burden — just the sand underfoot and the horizon ahead.
What should I pack? +
Light layers (desert nights get cold), sunscreen, a hat and an adventurous sense. (You'll receive a full packing list once you've confirmed your place)
Is the food vegetarian/vegan? +
Yes. All meals are simple, healthy and delicious — traditional Tunisian vegetarian or vegan dishes prepared fresh daily by the Bedouins. Dietary needs can be accommodated.
